Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Covenant One’s website, mobile application, text messages, telephone or AI-assisted interview, application process, introductions, date coordination, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and pilot scope

The founding cohort is intended for people who:

• Are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering this agreement.
• Live in or can reasonably participate in dates within the Nashville metro area.
• Identify as Protestant Christian.
• Are intentionally seeking a marriage relationship.
• Provide complete, current, and truthful application information.

Meeting basic criteria does not guarantee admission, an introduction, a particular number of introductions, or a successful relationship. We may limit or pause admissions to maintain a viable and balanced local cohort.

3. Applications and profiles

You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers and profile. You must promptly correct information that becomes inaccurate or materially incomplete. You may not impersonate another person, submit another person’s information without authorization, misrepresent your age, identity, faith, relationship status, intentions, location, or photographs, or use the Services for commercial solicitation.

Covenant One may ask follow-up questions, request clarification, review applications and photographs, and decline or remove a participant when reasonably necessary to operate or protect the community. We will not promise that an application review confirms a person’s character, beliefs, intentions, or suitability for marriage.

4. AI-assisted interviews and recommendations

Some applications may be conducted or supported by an AI voice agent. We will identify the agent as AI and disclose recording or transcription before it begins. You may request an available written alternative.

AI may summarize answers, draft profile language, structure matching information, identify missing information, and assist with recommendations. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You must review and approve your profile, and Covenant One may use human review and non-AI rules for consequential decisions.

5. Introductions and member information

A recommendation is an introduction, not a prediction, endorsement, professional assessment, or guarantee of compatibility or safety. Information shown about another member may be based substantially on that member’s statements. Treat member information as private and use it only to evaluate or participate in the proposed introduction.

You may not copy, publish, scrape, sell, distribute, investigate, harass, or misuse another member’s profile or personal information. Personal contact information will be released only according to the mutual-consent process presented for that introduction.

6. Safety and background screening

Online and arranged introductions involve real-world risks. Identity verification, application review, public-record screening, or other safeguards—if offered—cannot establish that a person is safe, honest, compatible, or free from undisclosed history. Records can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable, and harmful conduct may never have been reported.

Use ordinary precautions. Meet in a public place, arrange your own transportation, tell a trusted person where you will be, protect financial and identifying information, and leave or seek help if you feel unsafe. Never send money to another member. In an emergency, call 911; Covenant One is not an emergency service.

7. Community conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, deceive, discriminate against, or harm another person.
• Send sexual, violent, hateful, fraudulent, or unwanted commercial content.
• Pressure another person to communicate, meet, disclose information, or continue dating.
• Use the Services while prohibited by law or for an unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with security, reverse engineer the Services, or access data without permission.
• Use bots, automated extraction, or AI agents to interact as you without our written consent.

You must respect a decline, cancellation, block, or request for no further contact. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or removal.

8. Texts, calls, and electronic communications

If you opt in, we may send application, account, introduction, scheduling, safety, and service messages. Details appear in our SMS Terms. An AI callback will be initiated only after the consent process presented to you. You agree that electronic notices satisfy requirements that communications be in writing where permitted by law.

9. Fees and payments

The founding cohort may initially be offered without charge. If we introduce fees, we will present the price, term, renewal method, refund terms, and any screening or verification charge before you authorize payment. We will not charge an applicant merely to remain in an application-review queue without clear disclosure and authorization.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Covenant One a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, adapt, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Services and the introductions you authorize. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop participating and request account deletion. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to protect members, investigate reports, comply with law, address inaccurate information, or enforce these Terms. Certain consent, transaction, fraud, safety, and legal records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Service changes and availability

The Services are experimental and may change. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features or the pilot. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, delivery of text messages or calls, particular venues, or that another member will attend a proposed date.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Covenant One disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. Covenant One does not provide therapy, pastoral counseling, legal advice, background-investigation advice, or guarantees concerning any member or relationship.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Covenant One and its operators, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from another member’s conduct, missed introductions, reliance on recommendations, or events occurring before, during, or after a date. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

15. Governing law and resolving concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and provide a reasonable opportunity to address the concern. Any venue provision, arbitration agreement, class waiver, or additional dispute procedure will be added only after appropriate legal review and clear notice.

16. Changes and contact
